What you’ll do:
We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Executive with at least 2 years of experience to help drive new opportunities in our Sales team. You will play a key role in building new B2B client relationships and driving growth within the sales team.

What you will bring:
- Proven B2B sales background (ideally within a comparable industry sector).
- Good negotiation skills and the ability to command respect amongst senior decision-makers.
- Enthusiasm, drive, and great communication skills.

Objectives of this role:
As a Business Development Executive, your primary objective will be to represent our company's services to potential clients. You will use your extensive knowledge and consumer research to explain how our services meet customer needs.
Additionally, you will generate leads and build relationships by creating and nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities.
Your main responsibility will be to manage and maintain a pipeline of prospects and develop a solid pipeline of sales opportunities. You will also identify best practices for refining the company's lead-generation playbook.

To achieve these objectives, you will:
- Utilize Hubspot and associated tools, cold calls, and emails to generate new sales opportunities
- Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate services
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the various different vertical markets we operate in
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
- Report to the commercial director with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Required skills and qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets
- Self-starter, highly motivated
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
- Experience in the software, DevOps industry, and startups an advantage
- Fluent English speaking
